Hellbender Task Team
Task Team Purpose
The purpose of the Hellbender Working Group is to provide a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration between experts and stakeholders on addressing a variety of conservation topics pertaining to the hellbender (Cryptobranchus alleganiensis) in the southeast. The overarching goal of the working group is to promote scientific research, educational and outreach practices, and the protection, restoration, and management of waterways throughout the hellbenders range that will benefit both aquatic and terrestrial fauna and flora.
