* North Carolina is home to a great diversity of amphibians and reptiles, as well as the Southeast PARC (SE PARC) members who are working hard to learn, understand, teach about, and ultimately conserve these species. SE PARC is an inclusive organization that seeks to represent, and values, all voices in the conservation community, regardless of race, religion, political views, gender identity, or sexual orientation. We strive to host meetings that make all of our members comfortable and welcome. Although we had been planning to hold our 2017 annual meeting in North Carolina, we have decided to change locations due to recent legislation passed in that state which compromises the SE PARC spirit of inclusivity. By changing the venue, we are upholding our organizational values and ensuring a welcoming environment for our constituents and attendees.

***The oral abstract deadline has been extended to January 20, 2017.  Poster abstracts will be accepted up until the meeting, however January 20 will be the cut off for having them printed in the conference program.

***The nomination period for the Conservation Hero Award has been extended until Monday January 9, 2017.
